Everyone at the table who gets cards pays an ante dude, no exemptions for blinds.
I believe they’re playing $400/$800 + ante of $100, so with an 8-handed table like they have, there’s an action-inducing $2,000 up for grabs before cards are dealt.
An amount of money that every player has to put before the cards are dealt, including the Small Blind and Big Blind
